Water Damage in Pittston Township, PA

This Flooded business in Pittston Township, PA was cause by a broken water supply line in a bathroom. While the business was closed over a weekend, the supply line ruptured causing damage to the entire lower level. The before picture is of an office area with damage to the carpeted floor, drywall walls and baseboard. Because the loss happened when the business was empty, the water sat for an extended period and consequently wicked up the walls. The second picture is of the same office after it was mitigated by our crews. The content in the room was moved so that crews could extract the water. Then, crews removed the unsalvageable carpet as well as cut out damaged portions of the walls that couldn't be dried. Portions of the baseboard were also removed so the walls could be accessed. finally, equipment was set to dry the remaining materials in the room. This is the final result before repairs could take place.
